Hi, I’m Alex.

I’m Alex Pierson, a Tumwater-based photographer serving Olympia and the greater South Sound. For seventeen years I’ve photographed wild places, real people, and machines with character—using patient fieldwork, natural direction, and careful finishing to make images that feel honest and built to last.

I take on select portrait, wedding, commercial, automotive, print, and licensing projects when the fit is right. Every project starts with the purpose of the images, the people or subject involved, and a clear plan for what happens next.
